Built on the site of the old St. Augustine’s church and still retaining its magnificent towers, the new Avenham Centre is a large social enterprise specialising in regeneration, sport training and employment. This meets part of the Government’s agenda for ‘a Healthier Nation: a new strategy for the 21st Century’. As well as giving employment opportunities to local people, it offers the following services:
